Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skill: Python Developer Secondary: Oracle, Hadoop Experience: Minimum 8 years Roles & Responsibilities * Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field. * Minimum 8+ years experience in Python development projects. * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and microservices to support enterprise automation platforms. * Build, enhance, and support REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. * Develop and maintain Kafka-based event-driven integrations for real-time data processing and system communication. * Create, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, data pipelines, and data-processing logic using platforms such as Starburst/Trino. * Perform unit testing, code reviews, defect fixes, root-cause analysis, and ensure code quality through best practices. * Support application deployments, production releases, CI/CD pipelines, and post-release validation activities. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while ensuring platform reliability, stability, and performance. * Work with OpenShift, Redis, object storage, and cloud-native technologies to build and maintain enterprise solutions. * Collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, developers, and partner teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. * Participate in platform modernization, migration, and integration initiatives to improve system scalability and efficiency. * Develop and maintain workflow orchestration solutions using Apache Airflow or Astronomer when required. * Utilize Git-based version control, branching strategies, and release management processes. * Leverage AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies to improve development productivity and code quality. * Document technical designs, implementation approaches, and operational procedures. * Take ownership of assigned development tasks and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation platform.
