Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Owner with strong expertise in the Banking and Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining product vision, managing product backlogs, driving Agile delivery, and collaborating with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to deliver innovative banking solutions. The candidate should possess deep knowledge of banking products, regulatory requirements, digital transformation initiatives, and customer-centric product development.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and business objectives.

* Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, technology partners, and leadership to identify business needs and transform them into product requirements.

* Own and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with business goals and customer value.

* Create and maintain Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.

* Lead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

* Partner with Scrum Masters, Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery.

* Perform stakeholder management across multiple business units and executive leadership.

* Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation.

* Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk management frameworks, and security standards.

* Drive digital banking initiatives, process automation, and operational efficiency improvements.

* Monitor product performance through KPIs, metrics, and customer insights.

* Support UAT activities and production release planning.

* Manage dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Bank of America.

* SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager Certification (POPM).

* Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).

* PMP certification is a plus.

* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

* Familiarity with API Banking, Open Banking, and FinTech integrations.
