Must Have Technical/Functional Skills The organization is looking for a developer who can: A hands-on developer who has built applications from scratch, worked with databases and APIs, resolved production issues, and can contribute across the full software development lifecycle. * Develop applications using C++ and C#/.NET Core * Use Microsoft Visual Studio for development * Build applications from scratch * Develop and consume REST APIs * Work with SQL Server * Perform debugging, testing, deployment, and production support * Interact with business users to gather requirements * Follow secure coding standards For this Software Developer (C++ / .NET Core) position, interview preparation should focus on four major areas: 1. C++ Programming 2. C# / .NET Core Development 3. SQL Server & Database Design 4. Application Development Lifecycle & REST APIs Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain applications using C++ and C#/.NET Core. * Build applications from requirements gathering through production deployment. * Develop and consume REST APIs/Web Services. * Design and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries. * Troubleshoot production and performance issues. * Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders. * Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices. * Create technical documentation and implementation plans.
