Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Primary Skill: IBM DataStage, Oracle, PL/ SQL Secondary Skill : Datastage support Preferred: UI -Linux shell script, Autosys Experience: Minimum 10 years
Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications. * Monitor daily ETL batch jobs and ensure successful completion within defined SLAs. * Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, job failures, and data discrepancies. * Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues. * Monitor data loads, file transfers, scheduler jobs, and downstream system integrations. * Coordinate with business users, application teams, database administrators, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution. * Support release deployments, production migrations, and post-implementation validations. * Handle service requests, incident tickets, problem tickets, and change requests in accordance with ITIL processes. * Develop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
* Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management experience. * SLA monitoring and production support governance. * Experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
