Accountant IV

We are seeking a detail-oriented Statutory Accounting Contractor to support financial reporting, accounting close, and audit activities across several subdivisions. This role will prepare financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and disclosures while working with cross-functional teams to maintain a strong internal controls environment. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing complex accounting matters independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for multiple subdivisions.
• Participate in the accounting close process, including preparing and submitting journal entries, account reconciliations, disclosures, and other financial reports.
• Support compliance with US GAAP and IFRS within a strong internal controls environment.
• Manage and maintain intercompany accounting relationships.
• Support external audit activities and respond to auditor requests.
• Partner with cross-functional teams on accounting projects and day-to-day activities.

Required Qualifications

• Accounting experience with a demonstrated ability to manage complex accounting matters.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Curious and inquisitive approach, with a demonstrated ability to exercise professional skepticism.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate different systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with IFRS.
• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO.
• Experience with BlackLine journal voucher and reconciliation modules.
• Experience working with EY and other external auditors.
