Job Summary
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to information technology (IT) needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Has proficiency in a range of technical processes (or deep skills in a single area) through job-rleated training and considerable work experience. Completes a varity of atypical assignments. Essential Duties * Architects, develops and maintains reporting solutions (PowerBI, SSRS, COGNOS, Crystal Reports) as required to support other enterprise applications (Dynamics SL, Ultimate Software, In-House Custom Systems, etc.). Develops, tests and validates application systems for deployment to business areas including ETL packages utilizing SSIS. * Participates with other IT staff and internal customers in new product reviews, tests, and pilots. Works with software such as, RDP, active directory, Office 365, visual studio team services (VSTS) or similar agile project management tools. * Provides references and related training materials for users by writing and maintaining user documentation. Delivers enterprise applications support and training. * Provides day-to-day support and troubleshooting of enterprise application issues and end-user support for HRIS modules including the development of workflow and platform configurations. * Provides mentoring, functional and technical expertise, within an assigned business area, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business processes and applications. * Other duties as required. Minimum Requirements Minimum education preferred of the position Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field is preferred. Minimum certifications/license preferred of the position Minimum experience preferred of the position 5-7 years Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position * Must have knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, SSAS. * Transact SQL for extracting and updating SQL data and tables required. * Developing PowerBI and supporting an HRIS system JOB BAND AND LEVEL Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers. Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analysing situations. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: EXPLAINS COMPLEX INFORMATION TO OTHERS IN STRAIGHTFORWARD SITUATIONS.
