Shifts:




  • This opening is for a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule, night shiftavailable(6pm-6am).






  • We ask that you are flexible to work weekends, overtime and holidays






  • Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs. New hires are eligible to bidtoa different shift within their assigned department, beginning day 1 (awarded based on seniority within that department).

Job Description:

Summary of Responsibilities:





  • Responsible for routine cleaning






  • Participate in training to maintain janitorial and chemical knowledge






  • Perform the cleaning of areas such as floors, walls, sinks, stools, windows, tables and chairs, and air vents






  • Operation of floor scrubber as needed






  • Perform other duties as assigned such as taking out the trash, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and filling all dispensers on the plant floor






  • Operation of hi lifts, cleaning equipment, chemical dispensing systems, lock out tag out (LOTO), and disassembling and assembling equipment will be required






  • Handle a variety of cleaning chemicals






  • Understanding of cleaning practices






  • Must be able to work in a wet environment around operating equipment and be exposed to cleaning chemicals






  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)






  • Basic knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety, and Quality plans






  • Establish and sustain effective relationships with all employeesin order tofoster an environment where innovation and cooperation are used to solve problems






  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities





Required Minimum Qualifications:





  • Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire






  • Must possess a High School diploma/GED at time of hire






  • Must be authorized to work in the United States






  • Must be flexible to work any shift - 1st / 2nd / 3rd & 12hr






  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime






  • Must be able tolift upto 35-50 lbs.






  • Light to moderate physical activity required to include butnolimitedto:stand, reach, stoop, crawl, bend, and climb ladders
