Location/Region: This position is located out of our Wixom, MI or Huntersville, NC locations with extensive travel as needed up to 50%. Hybrid work, 3 days in office and 2 days remote when not traveling. What's the role? The Business Sales Manager leads the North American sales strategy and execution for ZEISS's portfolio of portable measurement and inspection solutions. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth through a combination of direct sales resources and indirect channel partners, ensuring comprehensive market coverage, strong customer engagement, and consistent achievement of revenue objectives. Here's what you'll do: The Business Sales Manager recruits, develops, coaches, and leads a team of sales and application professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer success, technical expertise, and profitable growth. The role is accountable for maximizing sales penetration across defined market segments and sales channels. For indirect channels, the Business Sales Manager develops and manages strategic channel partnerships, enabling partners with the tools, training, and support needed to expand market reach and accelerate growth. Working across multiple technologies and product lines, the Business Sales Manager drives cross-selling initiatives to increase customer adoption of the broader ZEISS portfolio, maximizing share of wallet and strengthening long-term customer relationships. The role ensures close collaboration with other sales, service and aftermarket teams, marketing, and operations to identify, develop, and efficiently convert opportunities into bookings and revenue. In partnership with local and global business leadership, the Business Sales Manager develops and executes sales strategies, go-to-market plans, and channel programs that enhance the customer experience, increase market share, and differentiate ZEISS from competitors. Through strong leadership, strategic channel development, and commercial execution, this position plays a critical role in accelerating growth and expanding ZEISS's presence across North America.
