JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN I
DEPARTMENT: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATIONS
REPORTS TO: AIRCRAFT INTEGRATION SUPERVISOR
CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT

JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing the full range of duties in electrical systems for aircraft installations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Install and maintain electrical systems including cable harness/components.
* Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
* Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, in accordance with Electrical Drawings/schematics.
* Ability to understand Redline processes while working closely with supervisor.
* Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical component/wire harness, IAW the electrical Drawing/schematics.
* Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

* 0-2 years of experience with electronic systems, electronics troubleshooting, electronic testing design, analyzing information, and attention to detail.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
* Recurring FOD training and awareness, upon hire and annually.
* Ability to comprehend schematics and integration/installation drawings.
* High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

* Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A 620 certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
* Manual dexterity and physical strength necessary to operate tools or make adjustments and repairs.
* Must have visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects.
* Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
