| Posting Summary |
Develop and record (2) online (asynchronous) lectures for the purpose of teaching urban farmers and gardeners the principles and practices of soil regeneration. Goal to equip urban growers with practical knowledge and skills to improve soil health through composting, organic matter management, and regenerative soil practices. Participants will develop management plans. Learning objectives: understand how organic matter, soil biology, and nutrient cycling contribute to healthy, productive soils, evaluate various soil amendments and determine appropriate uses for their specific production sites, select soil-building strategies and regenerative practices that will improve soil structure, fertility, biological activity, and long-term soil health develop soil management and regeneration plans for their specific garden or farm sites. |
