Position Title: Assembly
Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 2:00pm-10:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Assembly position available at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assemble copper and brass parts, coils, headers, and other heat exchanger components. - Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production orders. - Measure, fit, position, and secure parts for assembly. - Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment. - Inspect parts and finished products for defects or quality issues. - Support brazing, soldering, welding, and leak-testing processes as needed. - Use pallet jacks, hoists, or other material handling equipment when authorized. - Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records. - Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. - Keep the work area clean and organized. - Work with team members and assist with other production duties as needed. Assembly Requirements: - Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred. - Ability to read and follow written instructions and blueprints. - Basic math and measurement skills. - Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring tools. - Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. - Experience with copper, brass, brazing, soldering, or metal assembly is a plus. - Forklift or material handling experience is preferred. - Stand and walk for most of the shift. - Frequently use hands and tools. - Lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. - Bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and twist throughout the day. - Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. - Wear required PPE.
