Job Description

The Human Resources Manager is a key leader and member of the leadership staff. In this role, the Human Resources Manager provides the full range of HR support to the facility in the areas of positive employee relations, talent acquisition and retention, employee development, compensation, and benefits administration. This position is also responsible for partnering with the site's Environmental, Safety, and Health team to support the site's safety programs and initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partners with Plant Managers and staff to align HR initiatives, policies and practices to business requirements.
  • Development of HR team within the plant to ensure experiences and capabilities to strengthen talent bench and readiness and effectively support the site.
  • Lead or facilitate conflict management process, including consulting, providing training and conducting investigations. According to circumstances, will provide guidance and recommendations, implement and follow-up on conflict resolution strategies.
  • Proactively develops talent within the plant and coaches the management team on how to manage effectively.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement. Consults with managers and supervisors through all facets of the performance improvement process utilizing positive leadership processes, work sampling and, if necessary, termination action. Ensure all actions comply with positive leadership strategy, company policy and procedure, employment law and regulations.
  • Promotes and delivers on initiatives to drive positive culture and workforce climates, positive employee relations, open lines of communication and effective labor relations.
  • Facilitate a Culture of Change. May propose new/changed policies and procedures to support high-performance work force and management practices of positive leadership and to comply with changing employment law and regulations.
  • Facilitates and actively participates in management development programs for supervisors and provides direction for scheduling of other training opportunities within the plant. Recommends additional training programs and participates in the development of same.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence leadership and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Has a strong sense of urgency and able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
  • Previous experience with AAP, compensation, benefits administration, and human capital planning.
  • Solid knowledge of FMLA, OSHA, benefits administration, and rewards and recognition programs for the workforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, relentlessly execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans.
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, and ADP Applications). Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and leadership skills.

Required Experience and Level of Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Relocation is authorized for this position.



For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $150000 to $185000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
