Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Wage: $28.00-$30.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm, Overtime and weekends as needed We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for a potential-to-hire opportunity in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities and experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections of machinery and production equipment - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues - Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failures - Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems - Replace worn, damaged, or defective machine components - Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs - Perform testing and verification to ensure proper machine functionality - Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records - Assist with facility maintenance projects as needed - Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations - Work collaboratively with production and operations teams to support manufacturing goals Requirements for Maintenance Technician: - 3-5 years of industrial maintenance technician experience required - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills - Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems - Experience diagnosing equipment failures and performing repairs - Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial equipment - Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V preferred - Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment - Ability to work independently and respond to breakdowns in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of powder coating paint systems - CNC machine repair experience - Welding equipment repair experience - Experience with Haas and Mazak machinery - Facility maintenance experience - Experience maintaining electric and propane forklifts Why Apply? - Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term career potential - Competitive pay based on experience - Consistent first-shift schedule - Overtime opportunities available - Stable manufacturing environment - Immediate hiring need with a streamlined interview process IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
