- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and machinery.
- Maintain and repair shop equipment and CNC machines.
- Repair or replace defective equipment using hand and power tools.
- Reassemble equipment after repairs are completed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain required maintenance schedules.
- Inspect and maintain lifting equipment in accordance with EH&S requirements.
- Inspect and maintain motors, belts, bearings, wear surfaces, fluid levels, and other equipment components.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Assemble, install, and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Record maintenance work orders and completed maintenance activities.
- Handle shop waste and inventory responsibilities.
- Work closely with facilities and manufacturing teams to support priority maintenance needs.
- Assist shop personnel as needed to support daily operations.

- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and preventative maintenance practices.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Mechanically inclined with prior machine knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, elementary diagrams, ladder diagrams, pneumatic prints, and hydraulic prints.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- General knowledge of welding and manual machining equipment.
- Prior CNC repair experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including work order systems, email, and repair documentation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a factory environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
- Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Technician.
- HVAC systems experience.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- Frequent bending while performing maintenance duties.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and factory environment.
- Ability to lift up to pounds without assistance.
- Ability to perform occasional work outdoors when required.
