Steel Yard Spotter (Flatbed Experience Required) - Home Daily | Local Yard Role

Not your typical yard job - we need experienced steel haulers who know flatbeds and tight backing.

We're hiring a non-CDL Yard Spotter / Steel Hauler to support operations at a busy steel facility. This role requires real flatbed experience hauling steel and strong backing skills - even though you'll stay onsite.

What You'll Do - Job Duties

• Jockey flatbed trailers within customer yard at huge 44 acre plant
• Spot trailers into dock doors for loading/unloading
• Stage outbound steel loads for pickup by road drivers
• Work closely with shipping team to keep freight loading efficiently
• Perform frequent precision backing and maneuvering

What You Bring - Requirements

• Prior flatbed experience hauling steel (REQUIRED)
• Strong backing skills in tight yard/dock environments
• Ability to safely handle steel loads and securement awareness
• Yard spotting experience preferred (but not required with strong flatbed background)
• Safety-first mindset and reliability
• Ready to work attitude

This Role Is NOT

• Not an OTR or road-driving position-you are home EVERY DAY
• Not an entry-level driving job
• Not a general labor role
