We create possibilities that move life and commerce forward
Welcome to Manhattan. Every day, our supply chain commerce technology connects two billion people to 20 billion consumer choices. In the warehouse, on the road and in the store, we make what was once impossible, possible. If you want to tackle complex problems and redefine markets, you've come to the right place.
The Opportunity: The Demand Gen Manager owns demand generation strategy and pipeline performance for an assigned area. You will build scalable, full-funnel campaigns that move buyers from Inquiry through Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO). This is a hands-on role for a pragmatic, analytical marketer who can translate business goals into clear priorities, phased campaigns, and measurable pipeline outcomes. Depending on business needs and your strengths, you may support an assigned portfolio or cross-portfolio integrated campaigns while partnering with shared Centers of Excellence (COEs) and regional teams. You will be the connective tissue between segment strategy and activation: using campaign, audience, and funnel data to shape plans, orchestrate specialist teams, and move buyers through a full funnel with a coherent, measurable system. Day in the Life: What You'll Own
Demand Generation Strategy and Pipeline Accountability
- Own the demand generation strategy, operating plan, and pipeline performance for your assigned area.
- Translate business priorities and executive goals into integrated campaign strategies, investment recommendations, and measurable plans.
- Define the audiences, account priorities, buyer journeys, and conversion paths that support pipeline creation.
- Monitor performance from Inquiry through SAO, identifying gaps in volume, velocity, conversion, and progression.
- Balance major integrated campaigns with quick-win programs and always-on nurture to maintain momentum and coverage.
Integrated Campaigns and Campaign Capacity
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of approximately two major integrated campaigns at a time.
- Deliver roughly four to six major programs per year across paid, digital, email, web, events, partner, BDR, and regional channels.
- Build campaign briefs, phased activation plans, messaging inputs, audience requirements, and measurement plans.
- Manage campaign timelines, dependencies, launch readiness, and post-campaign optimization.
- Develop V1, V2, and V3 campaign releases, using performance data and stakeholder feedback to improve each iteration.
- Create repeatable campaign frameworks, workflows, and playbooks that scale beyond one-off programs.
Account-Based Marketing and Audience Engagement
- Build ABM programs that engage priority accounts and buying groups with relevant, coordinated experiences.
- Partner with Marketing Operations to define account tiers, audience segments, targeting approaches, nurture paths, and conversion points.
- Use account-level KPIs, engagement signals, and buyer behavior to prioritize activity and inform next steps.
- Connect marketing engagement with BDR and sales follow-up through aligned messaging, timing, and campaign context.
Full-Funnel Activation
- Orchestrate campaigns across paid media, digital, email, web, events, partners, BDR, and regional marketing.
- Build programs that move buyers from initial engagement through nurture, conversion, sales conversation, and SAO.
- Partner with shared COEs to activate campaigns globally while adapting execution for regional needs.
- Ensure campaign automation, handoffs, follow-up, and reporting support the intended buyer journey.
- Identify friction in the funnel and adjust targeting, messaging, sequencing, offers, nurture, and conversion paths.
Measurement and Optimization
- Establish campaign goals, pipeline assumptions, account-level KPIs, and success measures with Marketing Operations and Revenue Operations.
- Use multi-touch attribution and funnel analysis to understand campaign contribution and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead structured testing across audiences, messaging, offers, channels, journeys, and handoff points.
- Turn data into clear recommendations for optimization, investment, prioritization, and future planning.
- Communicate campaign performance, risks, insights, and decisions needed to marketing and business leadership.
Pod Leadership and Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Act as the strategic lead within a cross-functional demand generation pod.
- Orchestrate work across Global Paid Media, Campaign Operations, Marketing Operations, Regional Marketing, BDR leadership, creative, content, and other shared COEs.
- Create clarity around roles, responsibilities, dependencies, decisions, and timelines for each campaign.
- Lead campaign working sessions, launch reviews, performance readouts, and planning checkpoints.
- Influence without direct authority and keep teams aligned from strategy through optimization.
What We Need from You: Experience
- 6+ years of B2B marketing experience in demand generation, integrated marketing, or campaign strategy within enterprise or complex B2B environments, ideally in SaaS or adjacent technology categories.
- Demonstrated track record building and operating full-funnel, multi-channel campaign programs in enterprise or complex B2B environments, ideally supply chain, logistics, retail technology, or adjacent SaaS.
- Experience working directly with BDR or SDR teams to align outbound activation to campaign strategy, with accountability for conversion and follow-through, not just lead handoff.
- Experience managing matrix relationships across channel owners, creative briefs, and media plans across multiple campaign workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience partnering with MOPS on measurement, automation, and forecast inputs, without requiring ownership of systems administration.
- Experience partnering with Digital and Channel Specialists to improve traffic quality, conversion paths, and segment performance without owning channel execution directly.
- Experience using campaign, audience, and funnel analysis to shape strategy, improve conversion, and optimize investment decisions.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Systems thinker who can hold the end-to-end campaign architecture in mind while managing execution details across contributing teams.
- Executive presence and communication skills commensurate with a senior internal environment. Comfortable presenting campaign strategy, performance results, and program recommendations directly to CMO-level stakeholders and in cross-functional leadership forums including QBRs.
- Collaborative by default; able to lead without authority across channel specialists, PMM, BDR teams, RevOps, MOPS, and internal creative and external partners.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to turn segment strategy into clear briefs, messaging frameworks, plans, and stakeholder-ready recommendations.
- Fluency with the MA marketing stack or equivalent: Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, People.ai, and Outreach; understanding of how these tools connect across the revenue cycle and ability to architect data-informed campaign motions, automation requirements, triggers, and activations in partnership with MOPS.
- Curious and proactive in exploring AI and automation capabilities, with the judgment to test new approaches, identify practical use cases, and translate them into scalable workflows in partnership with MOPS.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and new processes are built alongside the work.
- Deep analytical orientation with the ability to independently interrogate campaign, audience, and funnel data, identify what is and is not working, and make fast, evidence-based adjustments.
- Strong understanding of ABM, account engagement, buyer journeys, nurture, and full-funnel conversion.
