What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services supporting charting and market data applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, business partners, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user needs.
• Design and implement robust APIs and service integrations that seamlessly support both internal and client-facing applications.
• Analyze and proactively resolve application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks to maintain system integrity.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices within the team.
• Support release activities and contribute to maintaining system stability, availability, and overall performance.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing applications using Java.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design principles.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience building and supporting distributed or client/server applications.
• Experience working with Spring Framework and related technologies.
• Experience developing and supporting applications in Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Experience with source control, automated testing, build, and deployment tools.
• Experience with relational databases and data access technologies.
• Experience with messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
• Experience analyzing and improving application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own features from design through production support.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues.
• Experience participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
