Laborer

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking Laborers to support environmental remediation, heavy construction, and site work projects in the Chattanooga, TN area. This position performs general labor and construction support duties in an outdoor field environment.

• Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and general site cleanup.
• Use hand tools and basic power equipment as required.
• Assist equipment operators and other site personnel with project activities.
• Remove debris, brush, and other materials from work areas.
• Assist with excavation, asphalt, and other construction-related activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow KEMRON and OSHA safety requirements and project-specific procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor in outdoor field conditions.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to work effectively around heavy equipment and construction activities.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled project hours.

• Work is primarily performed outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• May be exposed to dust, noise, moving equipment, uneven terrain, and hazardous materials.

• Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is strongly desired.
• Current 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher training, if applicable.
• ???????First Aid and CPR certification.
