Position Title: Machine Operator - 12 Hour Weekend Days
Wage: $20.60/hour Shift: 12 Hour Weekend Days Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm (Friday - Sunday) Training Schedule: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift (Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) for approximately 2 to 3 weeks before transitioning to the regular schedule of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Euless, TX. This is a potential to hire position. Work 36 hours, while getting paid for 40 hours! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Operate multiple types of fabrication equipment - Operate tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts - Place and secure work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches - Load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using various manufacturing equipment to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions written on Work Orders and blueprints - Complete project work as needed involving the assembly of parts that require the use of hand tools, paint accessories and mechanical devices - Complete work order paperwork - Perform in-process inspection according to standard procedures - Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required - Participate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department - Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubrication - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements for Machine Operator: - High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience - Previous experience in a manufacturing industry preferred - Excellent math skills - Ability to understand drawing and blueprints - Ability to use basic measuring instruments - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Ability to work overtime as needed - Ability to lift up to 40lbs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
