While this is a full-time, regular position, employment is anticipated to be short-term as this position is in-scope for layoff due to relocation of product lines. Employment is anticipated through July 31, 2027. This position will be eligible for negotiated severance benefits following termination of employment. The Machinist 2 reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining several machine types in an industrial setting. The position involves troubleshooting, moderate decision-making and problem solving. The role works under limited supervision and provides some guidance to other members. There is limited contact with external suppliers or customers.
