Job summary

The Manager Accounting Consultant supports accounting and financial reporting activities related to a complex carve-out and spin-off project. This role works with internal accounting and finance teams to manage increased workloads and ensure accurate financial reporting during separation and restructuring efforts.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and reporting activities associated with the Mobility spin-off and separation efforts.
• Assist with balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow preparation and analysis.
• Support legal entity restructuring initiatives and execution of NewCo-related accounting requirements.
• Perform treasury accounting activities, including foreign currency and derivative accounting support.
• Assist with pension accounting processes and carve-out financial statement requirements.
• Support transaction-related accounting and provide backfill assistance to accounting teams experiencing elevated workloads.
• Perform ledger reconciliations, data validation, and accounting support related to system conversion initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional accounting and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as a flexible resource capable of supporting multiple accounting workstreams as priorities evolve.
