Overview

MBP is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to support both Talent Acquisition and Human Resources activities. Approximately 75% of this role is focused on recruitment support and 25% on HR administration. What You'll Do:

You will play a key role in supporting recruitment and day-to-day HR operations. From sourcing and engaging candidates to coordinating onboarding and maintaining employee records, you will help create a positive experience for both candidates and team members. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR leadership to keep processes running smoothly, exercise independent judgment in your daily work, and contribute to company-wide recognition and engagement programs.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

    Support the recruitment team throughout the hiring process by coordinating recruiting activities, maintaining candidate records, assisting with sourcing efforts, and facilitating a positive candidate experience
  • Post and manage job advertisements across recruiting platforms, company websites, and industry-specific job boards
  • Use the ATS and other recruiting software to track applicants throughout the selection phase, including collection of onboarding documentation
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through online platforms, resume databases, referrals, networking events, and sourcing tools
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates regarding scheduling, onboarding requirements, and recruitment updates
  • Prepare offer letters and support pre-employment activities, including background checks, reference checks, and employment verification
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding schedules and facilitate a smooth transition for new team members
  • Assist with onboarding documentation, I-9 and E-Verify processes, HR reporting, employee communications, and other administrative HR functions
  • Coordinate and attend job/career fairs
  • Administer the Awards Program, including maintaining inventory and distributing team member service award gifts
  • Process STAR awards and prepare and distribute quarterly recognition reports to managers
  • Assist with the company's incentive program
  • Update birthday and anniversary list for the HRIS homepage
  • Manage inventory and coordinate delivery for new hire welcome boxes
  • Manage Team Member electronic file management system, verifying documents are filed in appropriate folders
  • Maintain confidentiality of all personnel information
  • Participate in team meetings and attend other meetings
  • Assist the HR Team with special projects and other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For

Experience:

  • Two to three years of experience in the Human Resources field
  • Recruiting experience with prior use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), candidate database, and social media platforms is a plus
  • Experience using HRIS systems and maintaining confidential employee information
  • Demonstrated track record of managing multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service and communication

Education/Knowledge:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)

Preferred Certifications:

  • Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred
  • Other HR certification preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in building relationships

Requirements:

  • Travel up to 30% with occasional overnight trips

Guidance/Responsibility:

  • Operates under the general supervision of the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager
  • Coordinates recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee relations activities
  • Exercises independent judgment in carrying out assigned responsibilities
  • Provides support to managers and team members on HR-related matters
  • Maintains confidential employee information

Supervisory:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities

Status: Full-time.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $68,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on work location, qualifications, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
