What you will be doing

  • Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, cookies, and specialty items while ensuring adherence to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.

  • Assist in pastry production for hotel restaurants, banquets, catering events, room service, and special functions while ensuring timely execution.

  • Support daily pastry operations by assisting with inventory management, product preparation planning, and training or mentoring team members.

  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, taste, and appearance for all pastry products served throughout the hotel, proactively identifying and correcting issues when necessary.

  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to support menu offerings, special events, and seasonal pastry creations that enhance the guest experience.



Position Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Culinary or Pastry Arts degree/certificate or formal training preferred.

  • Minimum two (2) years of pastry, baking, or culinary experience required; hotel or upscale dining experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of advanced baking techniques, dessert preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
