Description

The Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for field-based engineering and technical services supporting the power generation and process industries. This role is responsible for safety, operational execution, customer satisfaction, and full P&L performance across regional field operations.

The Manager leads multisite teams delivering engineering evaluations, inspections, specialty repairs, maintenance, and outage support, while driving growth, operational consistency, and profitability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Lead Field Services operations across multiple regions and offices
  • Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs, metrics, and performance goals
  • Drive standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure effective resource planning, staffing, and scheduling across regions
  • Improve productivity, utilization, and service delivery performance
  • Own Field Services P&L across all regions
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Monitor revenue, margins, utilization, and financial performance
  • Drive profitability and cost management initiatives
  • Support pricing strategy and project financial performance
  • Champion a strong safety culture across all field operations
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements
  • Support safety initiatives, audits, and continuous improvement
  • Lead and develop regional managers and field teams
  • Drive accountability, performance management, and talent development
  • Support workforce planning and staffing strategies
  • Partner with sales and leadership to grow field services business
  • Build and maintain key client relationships
  • Support proposals and major project opportunities
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction


Supervisory Responsibility:



  • Provide leadership and oversight for multi-site Field Services teams
  • Indirect leadership of engineers, technicians, inspectors, and field personnel
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives
  • Conduct performance management, coaching, and development planning
  • Establish team goals aligned with operational and financial objectives
  • Drive accountability, engagement, and team performance
  • Support succession planning and leadership development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of field services, industrial, or engineering operations experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing multisite teams
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility


Preferred:



  • Experience with planning and execution
  • Experience overseeing crews
  • Prior P&L or departmental budget ownership
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training a plus
