Job Summary The Field Internship position is part of Austin Powder's development program that will give students hands-on experience to gain field knowledge of the mining and blasting industry, exposure to customer dynamics and operating in a culture of safety. This program is designed around a multi-faceted rotation focusing on technical, operations, safety and compliance aspects.Interns will work alongside experienced professionals in the industry supporting daily operations, assist in data collection and analysis and gain practical knowledge of mining process, safety standards and industry best practices. This opportunity is designed for Mining Engineering students who are eager to apply classroom learning to real world challenges. You will develop technical skills, expand your professional network and gain insight into various career paths within the mining industry. Key Responsibilities and Duties
