Wire Data Engineer
Location: Fort Worth, TX Job ID: #73178 Pay Range: $61-72 Job Description Job Summary: * Developing system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for the aircraft wiring systems to integrate aircraft systems and manage data bus and power requirements * Develop aircraft wiring architecture, diagrams and schematics using Mentor Graphics * Use Capital Harness Systems (CHS) toolset and release wiring drawings in coordination with aircraft systems engineers and wire routing and installation design engineers * Evaluate wiring systems architecture in model-based design environment and architecture tools * Support wiring suppliers, aircraft build installation, aircraft testing and operations, and aircraft/system qualification and certification. Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering - or closely related field Position Requirements: * Minimum of 5 years of experience Developing system wiring requirements, architecture, and interfaces for the aircraft wiring systems. * Direct use of MENTOR GRAPHICS Capital tools for electrical wiring design (schematic, wiring diagrams, wire harness platform architecture, wire harness engineering, manufacturing formboard and tooling, technical publications). * Familiarity with military certification and electrical wiring industry standards for aircraft. * Candidates must be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance Preferred Experience: * Experience with system development and testing in a systems integration lab Experience with aircraft installation, functional testing, and troubleshooting * Enovia, DOORS, and Serena Dimensions Creation of system architecture and wiring schematics.
