What You'll Do
- Support privacy compliance initiatives and data protection projects across the organization.
- Assist senior project managers and product owners with task-level project coordination, ensuring smooth project execution from conception to completion.
- Conduct essential research and analysis on privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, CPRA) and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions and proactive measures.
- Help maintain comprehensive project documentation, meticulously track timelines, and facilitate clear, consistent stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, bridge communication gaps, and continuously monitor project progress.
- Perform critical data analysis and reporting to support ongoing privacy and compliance efforts, providing actionable insights.
- Assist with thorough risk assessments and gap analyses related to privacy programs, identifying areas for improvement and mitigation strategies.
- Support the development and implementation of robust privacy policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and effective.
- Handle smaller-scale projects and discrete tasks independently, contributing significantly to larger workstreams and overall program success.
What You'll Bring
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA) or foundational data governance concepts.
- Experience utilizing project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Monday.com to organize and track tasks.
- Previous experience in compliance, risk management, or privacy-related roles, demonstrating an understanding of relevant frameworks.
- A demonstrated growth mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving challenges.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in analysis, project coordination, or a similar impactful role.
- A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, enabling effective task execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex issues and propose practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of articulating complex information clearly and concisely.
