Compensation: $72.00 - $88.00 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week.
About the Opportunity:
  • As a Full Stack Developer III on client Aerospace's Launch Vehicle Ground Software team, you will develop the software systems used to test, monitor, control, and operate our launch vehicles from early benchtop hardware integration through full-scale launch site operations.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years developing front-end applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 5+ years developing backend applications or services using Python and Go.
  • 5+ years developing RESTful APIs, WebSockets, streaming interfaces, or distributed/microservice architectures.
  • 5+ years working with production databases and developing, deploying, testing, and troubleshooting software in Linux environments.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience developing real-time, data-dense applications, including dashboards, controls, operator workflows, visualization, and telemetry.
  • Strong understanding of front-end architecture, component design, state management, performance optimization, testing, software design, networking, concurrency, and asynchronous systems.
  • Experience with SCADA, industrial automation, robotics, aerospace systems, test and measurement, or other physical-system monitoring and control software.
  • Experience integrating software with sensors, actuators, instrumentation, PLCs, embedded systems, or hardware test equipment.
  • Experience with data acquisition, real-time control, messaging/event streaming, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted software development tools, including Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI coding agents.
  • Experience developing AI-assisted engineering workflows for implementation, testing, code review, documentation, debugging, and requirements traceability.
  • Aerospace experience involving launch vehicles, spacecraft, mission control, aerospace test systems, hardware-in-the-loop, or launch operations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
