Job Description Summary The Head of State Policy leads the development of forward-looking state policy strategies that advance patient access and pharmaceutical innovation while supporting Novartis business priorities. This leader manages the State Policy team, including the Associate Director, State Policy & Predictive Insights, and translates emerging legislative, regulatory and political trends into clear enterprise positions, advocacy strategies and actionable guidance. The role brings an enterprise mindset, connecting state policy priorities to broader US and global objectives, and partners across US Public Affairs and the US business to anticipate risk, identify opportunities and strengthen Novartis impact in priority states.Novartis will not sponsor visas for this position. Benefits & Rewards The salary for this position is expected to range between $225,400 and $418,600 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
