UITS invites applicants for the Applications Developer, Salesforce HAM/SAM (Applications Development Operations Specialist III) position. The Application Developer will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) Salesforce applications. The developer will build and configure business processes using Salesforce flows. The developer will also be responsible for the development of foundational systems and data needed for supported platforms.

This position is based at the Tucson campus and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, subject to supervisor approval and department needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) Salesforce applications.
  • Work with the implementation vendor to deliver the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) Salesforce applications and ensure knowledge transfer occurs prior to the end of the contract period.
  • Develop and update comprehensive technical documentation for all projects and processes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Salesforce application development.
  • Knowledge of the implementation and/or maintenance of Salesforce Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or Software Asset Management (SAM).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in higher education.
