Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Customer Care

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Customer Care in FAIRFAX, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to situations, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility operations location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and utility-related infrastructure to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate security-related logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience working a primarily driving post is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
