Your Job

Guardian Glass is seeking a Production Operators and Shipping Operators in Richburg, SC! Our Operators must be willing to work a rotational shift schedule (up to 12 hours), holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Competitive pay starting at $18-24 per hour based on experience.

Shifts Available: 12 hour rotating shift between days and nights. Rotates every 2 weeks between days and nights 7AM - 7PM, 7PM - 7AM

Our Team

Our Guardian Glass team in Richburg works together to safely prepare and ship glass products to our customers. Production and Shipping Operators collaborate with production team members, truck drivers and other partners to support safe, accurate and efficient outbound shipments."

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable production operations.
  • Execute daily production schedules, identify quality concerns, and escalate unresolved issues to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare finished glass products for shipment and distribution while maintaining product quality and inventory accuracy.
  • Safely move glass products using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Coordinate shipping activities by scheduling dock appointments, tracking load status, and completing shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
  • Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices and established procedures for aged glass management.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and proactively report maintenance, quality, or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production, safety, quality, and shipping objectives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and shipping processes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following housekeeping standards, safety procedures, and required PPE practices.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience using a computer or tablet

What Will Put You Ahead

  • One (1) or more years of experience working in a farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
  • One (1) or more years of experience in machine operator experience
  • Experience using a tape measure, air nailer, hammer, bander, and glass cutters
  • Experience operating an overhead crane
  • Experience operating a fork truck and or motorized pallet jack
