Program Specialist I (ABA)

Summary:

The Program Specialist I, assumes the primary caretaker role for patients in CSC ABA programs (Behavior Disorders Clinic and Autism Services) which includes delivering therapy protocols, maintaining a safe environment, and the management of harmful behaviors. The Program Specialist I also participates in data collection, training, and team collaboration.

Education/Experience:

• High school Diploma.

• Experience in ABA therapy settings or special education settings is strongly preferred.

• Pediatric experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Heartsaver CPR and CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date.

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification is required within 6 months of start date (training and fees provided by the department).
