Now Hiring: Lab Support and Inventory Control Specialist Location: Union City, CA Pay Rate: $27.00/hour + mileage reimbursement Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Looking for a hands-on laboratory support professional with inventory management experience? Join a fast-paced research environment where you'll play a critical role in laboratory operations, inventory control, procurement, and material management. Job Duties Support scientists and research teams with daily laboratory operations Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, chemicals, gases, and materials Receive, store, distribute, and track inventory throughout the facility Conduct cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies Process purchase orders, procurement transactions, and invoice resolutions Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor service visits Support tissue culture shipments and laboratory logistics Prepare shipping documentation and handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations Analyze inventory data and maintain accurate records Communicate findings and recommendations to laboratory stakeholders Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of inventory control, materials management, procurement, or laboratory operations experience Experience working in a laboratory, GMP, production, or regulated environment preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or similar platforms Knowledge of SOPs, inventory control practices, and documentation processes Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Physical Capabilities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance If you're an organized inventory specialist with laboratory support experience and enjoy working in a collaborative research environment, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and make an immediate impact.
