Glendale Office Pay Range: $160,000 - $175,0000 The Compliance & Quality Assurance Nurse supports clinical compliance, quality assurance, regulatory readiness, and risk management across Front Porch's health services. Through clinical audits, reviews, data analysis, education, and follow-up, this position evaluates care practices, documentation, policies and systems to promote compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements and organizational standards. The role partners with nursing and operational leaders across personal services, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing to identify clinical risks and opportunities for improvement, promote consistent standards of care, and strengthen community readiness for regulatory surveys and audits. This position will require travel.
| The duties listed below are considered essential to the successful performance of this position, as defined by Front Porch. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the future and may also be considered essential to the role:
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of health services quality improvement plans in alignment with the organizational goals, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies, procedures, and standards of practice; identify areas of risk and opportunities to strengthen compliance and resident safety.
- Conduct routine and focused onsite clinical compliance audits and observations across health service lines to identify regulatory, clinical, operational, and documentation risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs; analyze clinical quality indicators, incidents, complaints, audit findings, and other performance data to identify patterns and trends requiring further investigation or performance improvement.
- Conduct systematic reviews of clinical records for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance, including assessments, care plans, medication records, progress notes, orders, incident documentation, physician documentation, and other required records. Evaluate whether documentation accurately reflects resident needs, services provided, changes in condition, interventions, and care outcomes.
- Review significant clinical incidents and adverse events, including medication errors, falls, hospitalizations, changes in condition, and other identified risk events. Assist with root-cause analysis and evaluation of systemic contributing factors, including whether appropriate assessments, interventions, notifications, documentation, and follow-up occurred.
- Identify and timely escalate significant clinical, regulatory, or resident safety concerns to appropriate leadership and support the development, implementation, and follow-through of corrective actions.

Credentials: Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Master's Degree preferred
Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
- 5 years - Progressively responsible Clinical nursing experience
- 2 years of experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing preferred
- Multi-site experience preferred
