Supply Chain Industrial Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Industrial Engineer designs, analyzes, and
improves supply chain processes to increase operational efficiency, reduce
costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role works closely with
operations, logistics, manufacturing, procurement, and warehouse teams to
optimize material flow, inventory management, facility layouts, and
transportation networks.
Essential Functions
Analyze supply chain operations to identify improvement opportunities.
Design and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering principles.
Optimize warehouse layouts, labor utilization, and material flow.
Develop labor standards and productivity metrics.
Conduct time studies and workflow analysis.
Improve inventory management and replenishment strategies.
Analyze transportation and distribution networks to reduce costs and improve service levels.
Use simulation and data analysis tools to evaluate operational performance.
Create dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Support automation and technology implementation projects.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain
Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Work Experience
2-5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing,
logistics, or industrial engineering
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
