Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting the successful execution of multiple low-voltage installation projects while maintaining customer satisfaction, financial performance, and operational efficiency. This role provides leadership and guidance to Project Managers, an Assistant Project Manager, and Project Coordinators while managing scheduling, cost controls, P&L performance, labor and material forecasting, and project delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of operations leadership, project management, and technical knowledge, with experience in data centers, commercial physical security integration, or related low-voltage environments. Success in this position requires strong people leadership, financial acumen, collaboration, and the ability to guide project teams through operational and project-related challenges.

Job Responsibilities




  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure assigned projects are executed effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with customer expectations.



  • Lead and support a team of Project Managers, an Assistant Project Manager, and Project Coordinators.



  • Manage multiple low-voltage installation projects and provide operational guidance throughout the project lifecycle.



  • Monitor project resources, costs, schedules, labor requirements, materials, and overall financial performance.



  • Manage P&L performance and apply strong cost-control practices to support operational and project objectives.



  • Forecast labor and material requirements and guide Project Managers in resource planning and project execution.



  • Partner with operations leadership to oversee project performance, address challenges, and improve operational effectiveness.



  • Promote customer satisfaction by ensuring projects are completed according to established requirements and expectations.



  • Mentor, develop, and support team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and strong performance.



  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams, operations leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.



  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, project delivery, and resource utilization.



  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.




Job Requirements




  • 3-5 years of relevant operations supervision experience.



  • Experience managing multiple low-voltage installation projects simultaneously.



  • Strong experience overseeing day-to-day operations, including scheduling, P&L management, labor forecasting, and material forecasting.



  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing Project Managers, Coordinators, or similar operational teams.



  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance technical, financial, and operational priorities.



  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including project cost control and performance monitoring.



  • Strong team leadership, team-building, mentoring, and facilitation skills.



  • Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to understand and respond to customer needs.



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.



  • Data center experience strongly preferred.



  • Commercial physical security integration experience strongly preferred.



  • Experience in electronic security, fire alarm and life safety, building automation, healthcare systems, or related industries preferred.



  • College degree, trade school education, or equivalent relevant experience.

Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)




  • Direct-hire, full-time position.



  • Hybrid schedule consisting of four days in the office and one remote day.



  • Weekly schedules are generally expected to remain under 50 hours.



  • Travel is primarily limited to the Phoenix metropolitan area.
