The Learning Solutions Design Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving high-quality learning solutions that strengthen employee capability and support organizational performance. This role serves as the primary learning experience design expert within Talent & Organizational Development, translating business requirements, talent frameworks, development priorities, and program strategies into engaging, scalable, and measurable learning experiences. The consultant develops digital, blended, instructor-led, and self-directed learning solutions; creates learning journeys, onboarding experiences, and development pathways; and leverages emerging technologies, including generative AI, to enhance learner engagement and design efficiency. Working closely with learning leaders, program owners, subject matter experts, Human Resources partners, and business stakeholders, this role ensures learning solutions are aligned to organizational priorities, rooted in adult learning science, and designed to deliver meaningful learner and business outcomes.

• You will design and deliver learning solutions through eLearning, classroom training, videos, job aids, and other development resources.
• You will transform business goals, talent strategies, and subject matter expertise into engaging learning experiences.
• You will build learning journeys, onboarding programs, mentoring resources, and career development tools for employees.
• You will collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify learning needs and solutions.
• You will create learner-focused content using instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.
• You will leverage generative AI and emerging technologies to improve content development and efficiency.
• You will ensure learning programs meet quality, accessibility, compliance, and governance standards.
• You will evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and performance data.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in instructional design, learning experience design, talent development, educational technology, organizational development, or related disciplines. Experience designing digital learning, blended learning solutions, learning journeys, and multimedia learning experiences is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, learner-centered design, and the creation of engaging learning experiences across digital, instructor-led, blended, and self-directed modalities.
• Ability to translate complex business, leadership, and talent concepts into clear, practical, and learner-focused development experiences that improve capability and performance.
• Demonstrated proficiency with learning technologies and content-authoring tools, including Articulate 360 suite, LMS platforms, multimedia development tools, Microsoft 365 applications, and related learning technologies.
• Strong visual communication, storytelling, and content development skills with the ability to create compelling digital assets, videos, job aids, toolkits, learner guides, and performance support resources.
• Ability to partner effectively with subject matter experts, program owners, Human Resources partners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define learning objectives, and develop solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, timelines, stakeholder expectations, and quality standards.
• Ability to use learner feedback, assessment data, utilization metrics, and business outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and continuously improve learning solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage generative AI tools to accelerate content creation, rapid prototyping, multimedia production, learning personalization, and workflow efficiency while maintaining instructional quality, accessibility, governance, and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of career development frameworks, onboarding methodologies, learning journeys, and development pathways that support employee growth and internal mobility.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
