Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated 3rd-4th year associate (Class of 2022-2023) to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in our Milwaukee or Madison office.

Qualified candidates will have experience with employment litigation (including discrimination and wage and hour litigation), advice and counseling, OSHA, traditional labor matters, and other day to day employment matters. Strong legal writing skills and experience with discovery, motion practice, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings required. Experience with restrictive covenants, including expedited relief and related litigation, and discovery and trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred. Experience with deal due diligence experience is also preferred.

We are seeking a team-oriented associate with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic who has demonstrated client relationship and business development skills and an ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments. Top academics and experience required. The candidate will have the opportunity to work within a collegial practice group and support that group across offices nationwide.

To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Wisconsin Bar.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is $260,000-$310,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
