Summary
The Manager of Construction Support provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for teams responsible for Survey, Land, and Contract Management functions. This role supports the successful planning and execution of construction projects and programs by overseeing activities including negotiations, project planning, permitting, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, bidding, and contracting. The Manager ensures support services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and with a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, this leader is responsible for building and developing a high-performing team through effective staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development. Minimum Requirements
A four-year Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other job-related field from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of relevant experience in operations, construction and/or customer service within the utility or a related industry. In lieu of Bachelors degree, high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of experience in operations, construction or customer service within the utility or a related industry. Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory/management role.
