Responsibilities
Oklahoma Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced, senior-level IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, engineer, administer, and support enterprise infrastructure across networking, voice/unified communications, Citrix virtual application and desktop technologies, and endpoint management. The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical resource and subject matter expert providing advanced troubleshooting, architectural guidance, and project leadership while partnering with Infrastructure Engineering, Information Security, Clinical IT, Application teams, vendors, and leadership to keep OHH's clinical and business technology services reliable, secure, and highly available. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can independently resolve complex infrastructure issues, lead enterprise technology initiatives, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Enterprise Networking
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network incidents and performance issues.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise Cisco networking technologies.
Voice & Unified Communications
- Design, implement, administer, and optimize Cisco Voice and Unified Communications solutions, including CUCM, Unity Connection, and enterprise voicemail.
- Configure and troubleshoot IP phones and endpoints, device pools, calling search spaces, partitions, route patterns, translation patterns, and dial plans.
Virtual Application & Desktop Infrastructure
- Design, implement, administer, and support the enterprise Citrix environment, including applications, desktops, sessions, policies, and profiles.
- Troubleshoot complex Citrix performance, availability, connectivity, authentication, and application-delivery issues.
Endpoint Management
- Engineer, administer, and maintain enterprise endpoint management technologies, with an emphasis on Microsoft Intune.
- Develop and maintain endpoint configuration standards, compliance settings, and application-deployment and device-management policies.
- Support the Windows endpoint lifecycle provisioning, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and retirement - and automated software deployment processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, network engineering, unified communications/voice, Citrix administration/engineering, or endpoint management.
- Demonstrated experience engineering enterprise-scale environments across Cisco networking, Cisco Voice/UC, Citrix, and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems across multiple technology platforms, and leading or participating in enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure security, availability, performance, and disaster recovery principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, leadership, clinicians, and end users in a high-availability healthcare environment.
Preferred Technical Experience:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IP Phones/Collaboration Endpoints, Voice Gateways, SIP trunking, and enterprise dial-plan design
- Quality of Service (QoS) for voice, Cisco Catalyst/enterprise switching, and Cisco wireless networking
- F5 Load Balancers
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
- Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
- VMware and/or Nutanix, enterprise storage and data center technologies
- Disaster recovery and business continuity

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant advanced certification, such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Collaboration), Citrix certification, or Microsoft certification (Azure, Entra ID, Intune).
- Experience with F5 load-balancing, VMware/Nutanix/Cisco UCS, or enterprise storage technologies.
- Experience in a healthcare or other highly regulated environment, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
