As a Warehouse Associate in IDEXX's Westbrook distribution center, you will play a key role in receiving, picking, packing, loading, and shipping our products to customers and distribution centers around the world. This is a full-time, 1st shift position, Monday through Friday.

The Worldwide Operations team manages a global network of distribution hubs, working every day to deliver quality products to our customers on time and without disruption. In this role:
  • You'll pick, pack, load, and ship products to national and international customers and distribution centers.

  • You'll prepare documentation and products, help ensure accuracy of shipments, and troubleshoot and resolve issues as they come up.

  • You'll assist with or help coordinate international shipping, including reviewing and reconciling incoming international vendor bills.

  • You'll help maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.

  • You'll investigate inventory inaccuracies, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective action.

  • You'll support inventory processes and continuous improvement efforts, including cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, and reporting.

  • You'll move and store equipment, raw materials, and inventory for internal and external customers.

  • You'll support the instrument repair process, including daily shipping and receiving, and help track incoming and repaired materials.

  • You'll help administer instrument repair and field replacement programs, coordinate failure analysis and reporting, and support worldwide field returns.

What you need to succeed:
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; an Associate's degree is a plus.

  • Comfortable working well under pressure and tight time constraints.

  • Enjoys working as part of a team.

  • Skilled at prioritizing work and juggling multiple tasks.

  • Good computer skills; familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel is a plus.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Flexibility with work hours.

  • Comfortable following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable ISO regulations.

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 70 pounds independently (or up to 100 pounds with assistance).

  • For distribution and material handling roles: a forklift certification may be needed (training provided in-house), along with knowledge of export documentation and international shipping; experience with dangerous goods, customs rules, and export regulations is a plus.

This role is based on site at our Westbrook, Maine distribution center. It's a warehouse-type environment with moderate to high noise levels, where protective clothing may be required, and where you may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
