Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The North Carolina Rated License Assessment Project ( NCRLAP) is a collaborative project between the NC Division of Child Development and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. NCRLAP conducts voluntary assessments for child care centers and family child care homes within the NC Star Rated License System. In this way NCRLAP plays a central role in the licensing process of child care facilities
Position Summary
This position is pivotal in fostering a culture of excellence, demonstrating strong leadership, and significantly impacting the organization's overall efficiency and effectiveness by supporting NCRLAP staff. The key responsibilities include additional leadership assignments (55%), schedule assessments (25%), budget and financial management (15%), and other duties (5%).
Minimum Qualifications
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENCY AND ONE YEAR OF RELATED OFFICE EXPERIENCE; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE.
Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates
Preferred Qualifications
A four -year degree in the Early Childhood Education field with at least 2 years business experience or a four -year degree in Business with at least 2 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education or related 4 -year degree.
