2^nd Shift: 4/10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (10% Shift Differential)

Weekend Shift: 3/12-hour Shifts Friday - Sunday (11% Shift Differential; start times include 4am-4pm, 5am-5pm or 6am-6pm)

As a Welder, you'll work with metal fabrication equipment such as Gas Tungsten Arc (GTAW) and resistance welding to repair a variety of parts.

What you'll do:

• Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Participate in continuous improvement of processes
• Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements
• Observe all applicable safety requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 + years TIG welding experience
• 2+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints and welding process specifications
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day

Desired Skills:

• Previous welding experience in aerospace or aviation environment
• Experience with welding thin gauge material and exotic metals (Inconel and Hastelloy)
• Thorough understanding of tool design and fabrication methods and processes
• Trade certification preferred

The pay range for this position is $26.41- $39.62. The compensation package for this position also includes a performance-based cash incentive. Actual pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
