Position Description
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and dependable front desk receptionist in our Summerville, SC office who will serve as first point of contact for guests, customers, and employees. The role will help maintain security compliance and ensure a welcoming environment at ATI by providing exceptional customer service.

**This position has an onsite schedule during standard business hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.**
Essential Functions
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet arriving guests, verify identification and/or visitor records, and help manage access in accordance with location policies.
Answer and manage main ATI phones, assist with directions, issue badges, oversee visitor sign-in, vehicle registration database, and other front desk documentation related to security-related operations.
With supervisor oversite, responds to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Observe activity at the front desk and main entry points to help deter unauthorized access and report maintenance, access control, and other security-related concerns.
Create, program, and issue employee badges.
Screen incoming visitors against denied parties lists.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Monitor activity and cameras to prevent unauthorized access.
Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual behavior.
Complete all required reports and provide guidance to guard force.
Participate in required ATI training.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling tools)
- Prior receptionist or administrative experience is a plus
- Experience supporting front desk procedures in a cleared defense contractor environment preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization; Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Must successfully pass a background check to access sensitive information and automated systems.

Anticipated starting salary is in range commensurate with education and experience:
