Aon's Transaction Solutions (TS) practice partners with private equity firms, corporate clients, and legal advisors to help navigate and reduce transaction-related risks throughout the deal lifecycle. Our team delivers specialized expertise that helps clients complete transactions with greater confidence and certainty.

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive professional to collaborate closely with Transaction Solutions leadership. In this prominent role, you will support business development, client engagement, operational priorities, and executive activities that directly contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

What the day will look like

As an essential part of the Transaction Solutions team, you will hold a dynamic position involving business operations, client engagement, sales support, and executive assistance. Serving as a reliable extension of the leadership group, you'll assist in advancing strategic priorities, coordinating important initiatives, and ensuring smooth implementation throughout the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a trusted partner to TS leadership, helping manage central initiatives, business priorities, and day-to-day operations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, prospects, and internal collaborators to facilitate communication, drive follow-up, and ensure a high level of responsiveness.
  • Assist business growth initiatives by recognizing potential opportunities, preparing meeting documents and market insights, coordinating proposals, and monitoring pipeline progress.
  • Lead and coordinate RFP responses, partnering with subject matter experts and Sales Enablement teams to produce high-quality client deliverables.
  • Coordinate Aon Connect functions for the TS team and contribute to business growth activities within the Private Equity sector.
  • Coordinate M&A deal onboarding activities, including NDA requests, documentation management, and related administrative processes.
  • Support client management planning efforts, including annual client reviews, action plan development, collaborator coordination, and follow-up on key initiatives.
  • Manage sponsorship requests, charitable initiatives, foundation requests, and associated payment processes.
  • Oversee executive calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and prioritization of communications.
  • Coordinate team resources, carrier appointments, technology onboarding, internal communications, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams from Central and Southwest Transaction Solutions to promote strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Act on behalf of leadership, as needed, in meetings and internal discussions to promote efficiency and keep momentum on key initiatives moving forward.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior leaders in a business operations, executive support, client service, sales enablement, project management, or related role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong business insight and ability to exercise sound judgment when working with sensitive or confidential information.
  • Experience supporting business development activities, proposal management, client communications, and central initiatives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and self-directed with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and collaboration tools.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 - $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Houston, TX. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
