The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the purchase and organization of maintenance parts and related items, accurate inventory of those items, the creation of detailed work orders for the maintenance department and organizing the work orders for implementation based on priorities. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the eAM system to include equipment identification, parts inventory, requisition of parts, writing purchase orders, scheduling P/M's, work orders, work requests, parts orders, and reports in the eAM system. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will also support training of Maintenance Mechanics. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler works closely with Engineering-Maintenance Manager, Maintenance team, and Operations to prioritize maintenance work.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

This position is also eligible for a bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.   • Specs out all parts and supplies needed for the Maintenance Department/Work Orders and controls inventory according to Reliability Excellence best practices
  • Collaborate with Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Operations Manager regarding work to be performed and priorities
  • Oversee and update eAm and issue timely work order status reports
  • Identifies, purchases, and reserves all required materials for planned and scheduled maintenance work
  • Schedules preventive, predictive, and planned corrective maintenance work
  • Presents planned work in coordination meeting with production, production scheduling, and maintenance supervisor to agree on upcoming maintenance schedule
  • Closes completed work orders after reviewing for required information and adequate detail
  • Analyzes completed jobs, identifying opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the work plan
  • Supports Training of Maintenance Mechanics to include hands-on repairs for training purposes
  • Vendor contact for ETA of parts and pricing
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance stock room

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have at least Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience with purchasing non-raw material parts and supplies
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience as Maintenance Mechanic
