WHAT YOU'LL DO & HOW IT SHAPES OUR SUCCESS

The Account Manager serves as operations and project management support to Greetings and Packaged Expressions creative work. This role is responsible for guiding initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring creative resources are aligned to business priorities, timelines are achievable, and work is executed efficiently and effectively.

In addition to strategic account management responsibilities, this role provides hands-on traffic management and daily workflow coordination for the teams it supports. As an Account Manager, you will serve as the central connection point between business partners and creative teams, helping transform business strategies into actionable creative plans. You will partner closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Creative Planners, Editors, Designers, Merchants, and cross-functional business leaders to prioritize work, balance resources, solve complex challenges, and ensure high-quality execution across a large portfolio of programs.

Success in this role requires strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to influence decisions, navigate competing priorities, and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders. You will lead team meetings, facilitate decision-making, maintain visibility into project status and risks, and ensure teams remain focused on the work that delivers the greatest value to Hallmark and its customers. This role oversees a significant volume of creative programs across Greetings and select Packaged Expressions businesses, managing work from portfolio-level planning down to individual SKU execution. Through effective planning, prioritization, and resource management, the Account Manager plays a critical role in helping Hallmark deliver exceptional products and experiences while building the capabilities, processes, and partnerships that support future business growth.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Trafficking and scheduling of Greetings and PE work ensure seamless workflow execution, alignment of priorities, and timely delivery of projects through proactive scheduling, effective communication, and strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Drive capacity and resource planning to ensure teams are aligned to business priorities and positioned to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
  • Serve as a trusted business partner by translating strategic priorities into actionable creative plans and providing clear direction, visibility, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment by removing barriers, driving decision-making, and ensuring seamless collaboration across creative, business, and operational teams
  • Provide financial stewardship through budget management, forecasting, resource planning, and optimization of internal and external talent investments
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, increase efficiency, and enhance organizational effectiveness



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following are required to be considered for this role:



  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • At least 4 years of experience leading project planning, workflow coordination, resource management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver business objectives
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience partnering with multiple internal and external stakeholders to manage project priorities, timelines, and deliverables



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have the following:



  • 3-5 years in a leadership position and/or managing people
  • Experience with Hallmark systems, workflows and the product development process
