Job Summary:

The Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus seeks a part-time academic hospitalist at the Assistant Professor level to join our vibrant hospitalist group practicing, and teaching Hospital Medicine.

This role is structured as a 0.025 FTE appointment, with shifts scheduled based on departmental needs and physician availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • providing inpatient clinical care

  • teaching students, including Advanced Practice Fellows

  • completing administrative obligations

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Adjoint Assistant Professor:

  • MD or DO

  • Minimum 1 year of professional clinical experience

Anticipated Pay Range:

Compensation on a per shift basis:

$1,250 for each day shift worked

$1,350 for each swing shift worked

$1,500 for each night shift worked

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
