Apply Later Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges?
You've come to the right place.
YOUR IMPACT
You will be responsible for managing and leading a full range of professional development and staffing activities for a group of consultants across offices and practices as well as partnering with cell leaders to drive and deliver on the people agenda.
You will work in collaboration with the South office leadership and PD team, as well as the full NA professional development community, driving thoughtful alignment while balancing at times competing priorities.
In your work, you will bring an understanding of the value created by professional development strategies, an ability to help develop, adapt, and refine these strategies in the face of evolving business needs and tradeoffs, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for helping our talent grow and thrive. You must be located within a reasonable, daily commute from our Atlanta office to enable regular in-person leadership and apprenticeship.
You will build strong relationships and serve as a trusted thought partner and counselor to partners, associate partners, and a broad range of client-facing colleagues; help enable decision making on both tactical (e.g., effective and efficient client team formation) and strategic (e.g., longer term strategy and people pipeline / initiatives) levels; and develop and coach individuals to facilitate their professional development through accelerating our highest performers, while also managing complex or sensitive people situations. Professional Development colleagues work with each consultant to build a trust-based relationship, which includes an in-depth understanding of professional aspirations, experiences, strengths, development needs, and relevant personal circumstances.
You will support other people- and PD-priorities as needed and collaborate across a number of NA-based PD teams. You will manage the evaluation and feedback process, including the review and evaluation processes (e.g., semi-annual reviews, upward feedback systems, candidate diligence, post-engagement feedback) in close cooperation with the respective review committee chairs and leadership, bringing independent judgment and discretion to ensure fair and balanced outcomes. You are someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, bringing a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to tackle meaningful challenges that have a real impact.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help you quickly broaden your expertise, grow into a well-rounded professional, and contribute to work that truly makes a difference.
